A lot of good discs came out this summer (and a whole lot of more are coming out this fall), and here are the 5 that got the most listens from me the past couple months.

After hearing Alfie by Lily Allen I went on a hunt for more, and was a tad disappointed. I kinda liked her stuff, but it was also a little hard for me to really get into.

I also listened to a little Junior Senior, and while I like it, I don't like it as much as I liked some of their earlier stuff. It's still super catch, but I feels like it lacks the more energetic tempo I was used to with them.

Kayne West music sounds good, but the lyrics are mindless, and his remix of "Better,Harder, Stronger, Faster" has actually gotten worse the more I listen to it. Never been a big fan of The White Stripes or QOTSA.

I just started listening to this guy named Mika. Does kinda poppy techno stuff. I've already got his cd on order after hearing a handful tracks. Ever heard of him?
