om nom nom chemicals

You know, chemistry is a lot like baking. I don't just mean the mixing of ingredients together in the right order at the right time for the right amount and sometimes adding heat to yield a new product. The way I do a chemistry experiment and the way I bake have remarkable similarities:

The difference is that chemistry lab products aren't delicious. )

how do you survive?, the lights are on but no one's home, for science!, talking to myself, delicious noms, would forget to breathe if not reminded

I SPENT LIKE A WEEK TRYING TO FIND A RESPONSE MACRO AND I COULDN'T :( but please know I appreciated and loved that one.

WHY DO I SOUND LIKE GERMANY. Germany wearing a lab coat is a very easy mental image to have. I wonder why. He seems like the science-type, I guess. Even though so many of those guys were Austrian. But the flowers? FLOWERS? I don't see Germany doing that. He's too intelligent. Unless - wait - he suddenly realizes he's holding flowers and he's all WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING. Then I see it.

It really is. It's mixing ingredients together and sometimes adding heat to create something new. I did like chemistry once, I guess. Probably because it's like baking. Food Science? What is this, can I take it? I want to eat what I make. Otherwise... well, so much is liquid or metal or expensive that yes, eating or drinking it would be a terrible idea, but it never smells as if it'd taste very good, anyway. And we never worked with very much of it. It's not like you'd have a bowl to lick or anything ( ... )

LOL THAT'S OK, I POSTED IT BECAUSE IT JUST SORTA FIT WITH YOUR LJ NAME AND BAKING. But yes, I know you'd appreciate it and that you'd love it. Hence why I posted it :D

Um, well, because of the talk of science and cooking. Just seems very Germany-ish to me. lol.

Food Science is a lab module where you do experiments on food-grade products. And since it's all food-grade, it's edible! Kinda like learning about what goes on behind the scenes in those food manufacturing factories.

I do not think you'd want to lick any bowl in a chemistry lab. Even if they weren't poisonous enough to kill you, they don't exactly look very clean and lickable ( ... )

I actually forgot to reply to this part of your comment ^^;

But anyway: I don't think it's odd to imagine Germany holding flowers though? As in, I can see him holding a bouquet of flowers but perhaps in a more absent-minded manner or a more "it's just flowers and nothing more" kind of way.... he did buy a huge bouquet for Veneziano anyway so maybe that's why I don't have a hard time associating him (as in Ludwig) and flowers.

I think that also kinda explains why I wrote that GerIta scene out in Act 4. I SEKRUTLY IMAGINE GERMANY HOLDING FLOWER BOUQUETS ALL THE TIME FOR VENEZIANO. LOL.
