What kind of tattooing methods are you used to? [Now she's attempting to gather information.]

I'm used to automatic needles and pre-mixed ink. For this little experiment, I'm going to have to make the ink myself. I wouldn't be surprised if I had to ask one of the smiths to fashion needles for me.

Hmm... [She sounds thoughtful.] I might have to ask a favour of someone, but I might be able to help you.

Who would you be asking?

I think that's probably the standard everywhere, but I'm used to mechanic needles doing the hard work. Doing it here is going to be a more difficult process. Do they have machines for it in your world?

Have you done any tattoos yourself?

I've been reading up on it, but I'd liked to see if there are any other approaches I can take before I start trying to make the ink.

It's no trouble. I think it'll be fun. Assuming you can endure the pain, that is.

Have you done it before?

Yes, I've helped several of my former apprentices do their Bishop tattoos. We all get a tattoo on our backs from our mentors when we become Bishops.

Do you think it'd be possible to do something like that here?
