I'm used to automatic needles and pre-mixed ink. For this little experiment, I'm going to have to make the ink myself. I wouldn't be surprised if I had to ask one of the smiths to fashion needles for me.

I think that's probably the standard everywhere, but I'm used to mechanic needles doing the hard work. Doing it here is going to be a more difficult process. Do they have machines for it in your world?

I've been reading up on it, but I'd liked to see if there are any other approaches I can take before I start trying to make the ink.

Yes, I've helped several of my former apprentices do their Bishop tattoos. We all get a tattoo on our backs from our mentors when we become Bishops.
