1. Click here!
2. Click "Add" to confirm.
3. Click the "friends page" link to go to your Friends Page.

hi Frank. I have been trying to upload my userpic from the camera and it's too big (more thank 300KB) so I tried google (the small images). Turns out that doesn't work either. Maybe b/c it's copyrighted. I'm not sure but i've wanted to do that to make my blog interesting. Any advice?

You will need to get a graphics editing program to resize your image. A good, free program is available called Gimp ( http://www.gimp.org ) - there is a lot of documentation out there with tutorials on how to do things with Gimp, just do a simple "gimp tutorials" search in your favorite search engine.

hi.. i have a question. if i have this lj community and the news and stuff on my friends page.. how do i get it off? i tried deleting it as friends but it wont work

You're probably still on the community's watch list. Go the the community's info page, and click the link at the top that says "leave the community." Make sure you check the box that says "Also remove 'whatever community' from friends list." That should work!

About adding friends

When you add someone as a friend, does it send them an email or something that tells them they've been friended, or do they have to look at their user info page?

Hmm well speaking for people with free accounts, I do not think it alerts them if somebody has friended them.
