Er, hi. I've been trying to customize my comment links, and do you know if there's any way I could get them to not be plural?

I mean, I'm trying to get it to say "[insert number here] help me get away from myself" for where it would normally say "[number] comments," but then of course it's going "[number] help me get away from myselfs," and that's really annoying, and yeah.

So is there a way to fix that, or am I just gonna have to make it say something else? Thanks.

Looks like you're using S1, so...

In your *_TALK_READLINK overrides, just take out the part that says "%%mc-plural-s%%". That's what adds in an "s" when it's plural. :)

I have not been able to do it. I would have to go back to SS1, and I have worked too hard on my SS2 layout to be willing to change. So an oh well unless I want to go up to paid status

There's a list of tutorials here (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=howto&keyword=Comments+Link+-+Changing+Text+of) that explain how you can change the text of your comment links... make sure you pick the tutorial that's right for your style.

you should be able to. To crate a new LJ feed you need to be a paid user, which you aren't - but i'll do it for you.

Give me the URL of your flickr or yelp, and their feeds and ill do it.
