I believe though that those who fight to free themselves from those kinds of hardships are indeed some kind of hero in the eyes of others, especially if they are still living through those experiences.

Perhaps, hero is not the right word, but certainly an inspiration. I almost regret to tell you this, but no matter how much it may displease you, it's impossible to take that inspiration away.

It may seem absurd, but is the idea of having some pride for what you have done and thus indirectly given to others so much trouble to up hold?

Forgiving everyone? That's just... not right at all.

Maybe being a mouthy bitch isn't right either, but at least it deals with it. Forgiving and pushing it aside is just a form of denial. I wouldn't say it's fucked up so much as a way of coping, but damn, a really sucky way of coping.
