Whilst wandering towards Shadwell DLR station today, I happened to glance at the new development of flats and shops springing up near Watney Market. It's been given the ridiculous name of 'Watney Piazza'. I don't know who came up with this name - it seems like the ludicrous invention of some property developer in order to make the area sound more ( Read more... )

lol Sounds nice! Shadwell basin's quite nice though isn't it? How are you mate?

I'm doing well, thanks - looking forward to having this week off.

Bits of Shadwell basin are quite nice, but this part is quite run down. It's good that they're doing it up, but I don't know why they have to give it a silly name.

I read that as Wahey Pizza, which is a different thing altogether

I must admit I thought it was Pizza at first but I reckon I was just hungry at the time!
