That sounds awesome, man. Not only am I glad to hear you're taking care of yourself--and having fun while doing it--I'm actually jealous of the quality of food you're eating!
Is it hard to cook? I've never really tried to cook anything beyond pasta or microwave dinners. I have a really tiny kitchen too. It sounds fun though!

Well, I'm not by any means a gourmet chef.
For me, knowing the WHYS of the kitchen is half the battle. I watch "Good Eats" on the Food Network, and it has taught me so much.
I'd recommend Alton Brown's books, and a book "Cookwise" by Shirley Corriher. If you are a gluton for punishment, try "On Food and Cooking" which is like a math book for cooking science.
For me, cooking is not hard. It just requires patience. Know that you will fail, but you will learn from the failures. A few fresh ingredients, a little science and know-how, and you WILL impress yourself.
