Shopping!
Shizune and I decided to ditch take a brief pause from our paperwork and go to the Konoha Pavillion mall for a little shopping; we both needed swimsuits for the pool party this weekend.
After being harrassed speaking with a few of my loyal voters over their meaningless concerns, we were left in peace to continue looking around.
We walked around the mall a little before Shizune spotted something she wanted to take a look at in Kurenai's Secret. Leave it to her to find a very modest one-piece in that store *rolls her eyes*. Oh well, it does look good on her. I found a cute two-piece I liked and decided to try it on.
My day was going just fine... got a party invitation, took yet another a break from work, and was in the middle of trying on a new bikini top when it all went downhill. I couldn't get the top to tie in the back, so I turned around took look at my back with the mirror when Shizune screamed my name and started yelling. I looked up and there was someone WATCHING ME!!!! How dare they?! So naturally, I exploded out of the changing room after the guy.
He seemed to think running into the big department stores and around the little shopping stands would slow me down... but I didn't have to go around stands or find doors, he did... which would explain the bill I'm going to have to pay off for property damage. *cries*
Anyhow, I eventually caught him and beat his ass to a pulp gave him a stern talking to. I guess when I ran after him I still hadn't quite tied the bikini top though as I soon discovered myself not quite decent after wiping the blood off of myself calming down *blush*. Well, I'd be damned if I let some pervert ruin my day, so I just crossed my arms and tried to hide myself the best I could, thankfully I still had my pants on.
I started walking back to Kurenai's Secret until I passed by KonoCoffee. Shizune was probably coming after me and she always comes here, so I figured it'd probably be best not to have both of us wandering around looking for each other. I sat down, politely demanded asked for an Irish coffee to help calm me down after the ordeal, then the girl had the nerve to tell me they don't sell those! Was it really too much to ask for?! Coffee, whiskey, and whipped creme! It's not that difficult!!!
Shizune showed up with Tonton (where the hell does she hide that pig?) after a few minutes with my stuff. She looked as relieved as a mother finding her lost baby, so I had to laugh a little bit. Like I'd ever get into trouble when she's not around? As I got redressed I glanced up and saw her arguing with the barista over her favorite drink. I swear she would've torn that woman to shreds if I didn't grab her.
We finally got back to the office a few minutes before quiting time. Shizune practically tackled the coffee maker and I finished off my new hidden stash.
At least I got the bikini I wanted for the pool party ^_^
