"no matter who you were then, you are always a little bit better off when you were in high school than now." I don't always agree with that, but it's something I think about whenever I feel like escaping from the present. Ahhh, youth. :)

I like the financial independence that comes with adulthood. But the drama, the heartaches (which is so much different than teenage heartaches!), and the responsibilities... yucks!
