Have Sam get over Amelia. Little by little. Let them meet some savvy hunters to have affairs with. It's not like tough women don't exist in the job, even if Kripke managed to kill a lot of 'em off. Figure out how we go from dysfunctional, codependent brotherly love to epic brotherly love again. Show us that you don't need one to have the other.
Brilliant. :) I've always said that if Dean and Sam are going to have love interests, the love interests need to be able to take care of themselves. (Which is one reason I love Destiel. ;) And I still like Sam/Becky, too -- she just needs some training.)
Side note about Benny. As an alkie trying desperately to stay on the wagon, having lost his only friend, he's uniquely sympathetic. Am I the only one who would relish seeing the Alpha Vamp take a special interest in him?
Did you see that Rick Worthy tweeted to Ty Olsson?? :)
Wow, I couldn't have said it better, or even thought of half the things you did, but I do agree with everything except the possible reason for the tablets.
I think it might be that, assuming GOD created them then made them available to humans, with at least one person being able to read them, it's so eventually humans would be the "ruling" species on earth. I guess what I'm saying is that if GOD created man in his image then he would want them to eventually be dominant and the tablets are the means to accomplish this.
First I want to say, I like all your thinky thoughts.
Your questions about the tablets are interesting. Not that you asked, but I think the tablets were created like an encyclopedia. The Leviathan, Demon, and Angel ones we've seen are part of the creation series. I second rog457's idea that the tablets were made for humans (like the bible) to understand more of God's plan and work. As Lucifer and Uriel complained, humans were the most favored and the knowledge of the tablets would enable us to protect ourselves from both angels and demons should we need to. I'm not against the closing Heaven and Hell "forever" storyline because it wraps up the mythology that has been dragging around since stopping the Apocalypse
