Long Time No See!
I have been in SUCH a rut for months now -sigh, but I did get inspired to do something in TS3 yesterday! I suddenly got in the mood for TS2 families -not TS2 (ick cannot go back to THAT gameplay!) but for the characters I always loved in it.
So I decided to remake them & their homes!
My first project?
The Pleasant Family!

I tried not to use anything but BASE GAME items if I could, but I HAD to use the 2 windows created by Elias943 @ ModtheSims. And maybe you don't want to deal with fixing them for the latest patch? Well, I did it for ya! You can snag the newest patch ready windows RIGHT HERE!

Lots of Reminiscing Ahead!
I never fell in love with TS3 townies the way I did with TS1 & especially TS2.
Maybe because TS3 has so many? Or maybe because it didn't seem to have the very clear storylines as TS2 had going on -but I love love love the TS2 characters!
I hope in the coming weeks to finish off Pleasantview & head over to Strangetown next!

I first met Daniel in TS1 when he, his mom, dad & sister Jennifer, lived in the same neighborhood as the Goth family. I loved seeing him in TS2 & the complicated life he weaved for himself. So now I have to have that yummy-drama-goodness from TS2 back in my game!
- Athletic - Kind of a give-a-way since he was in TS1 & in Athletic career in TS2!
- Flirty - lulz, with his life he has to be!
- Hopeless Romantic - I think underneath the cheating guy is someone who just wants to be petted like a man in the 50's *snort*
- Hot-Headed - With all the fighting in this house that just makes it more fun!
- Unlucky - the one trait I was iffy about, I ended up going with it b/c he was almost an elder & only a Toddler Sports coach or something like that -lolol!! THAT SEEMS UNLUCKY... or lazy... uh... yeah. ANYWAY, I may change this later.... what are your thoughts?

I always varied from hating & torturing Mary-Sue to really liking her -what can I say, I'm fickle like that! I once had her have an affair with Don after her divorce from Daniel & she had a love child with him (well Don pretty much knocked up EVERY woman in my TS2 game :x) and lived her last years alone with her son. But I have to say, her TS3 version I made, as a Young Adult, is so beautiful! If you snag her be sure to check out the younger version!

- Charismatic Has to be for political career!
- Perfectionist Sims wiki said she was, plus with her background she totally is!
- Savvy Sculptor TS2 bio says she enjoys doing pottery! I thought this would be an interesting option if myself or anyone else wishes to flip her life around :)
- Workaholic We are made to believe this is the trait ruining her family -eep!

Oh God, I always hated Angela! LOL! I ALWAYSSSS married her off to her Broke (literally) BF & made her have lots of babies & get super fat & fail at everything she did *cough*
- Angler Her bio says she wants to be a fishing boat captain, lol! So I tossed in this for a TS3 trait!
- Hot-Headed Pretty much decided all Daniel kids needed this trait
- Natural Cook In TS2 she was the only one in the family with cooking traits, so I just tossed this in for her.
- Neat Yeah, lets see how neat you can be when you stay knocked up and get so big you can't see your feet! *snort* *ahem* Yeah.... I forget why I gave this to her! LOL!

Love this girl! Sometimes I had her run away from home, but always had her marry Dirk Dreamer, whose dad would marry Cassandra Goth & therefore this shunned twin would rise up the social ladder, make an amazing Athletic career for herself & be AWESOME! WOOO! SUCK IT ANGELA!

In TS1 she was a huge tomboy, but by TS2 Jennifer turned into a little fashionista! I kinda took that statement in her bio & ran away with it like crazy!
- Ambitious The girl has goals & her stilettos will stomp you to the ground if you get in her way!
- Athletic Jenn definitely takes care of herself
- Charismatic She is a charmer
- Schmoozer Very big charmer -watch out!
- Snob I like to think this was her last trait to gain & a personality she grew into over the years.

John was in TS1 Unleashed! He was one of the families that came with Old Town & I love he ended up with a Pleasant in TS2! In the 2nd game he was almost to the fat stage so I made him kinda chubby here as though he is just a jolly laid back guy who likes his food a bit too much! I also play John & Jennifer as though they have grown into different people since they married -I like to think they married right out of high school & way too young. So now he is blissfully unaware that she is unhappy :(
- Dog Person In honor of his days in TS1 Unleashed!
- Family-Oriented He was a family sim in TS2
- Good Sense of Humor Just a jolly guy in my mind :D
- Green Thumb His bio in TS2 said he loved to garden
- Loves the Outdoors Very fitting for him I think!

The best maid in TS2! I always loved how she was involved with both Don & Daniel, though with Don it was clearly just a fling. Once I did have them marry & played her like the hussy & she ran around on him all the time while he was stuck with babies -lol, it was fun to torture Don! BUT ANYWAY! I love Kaylynn's storyline with the Pleasant family so had to include her!
- Artistic In TS3 bio it says she loves to paint :)
- Family-Oriented She comes from a big family in TS3 & I see her being the type to love taking care of people
- Friendly ~~clearly~~ LOL!
- Hopeless Romantic Kinda same mindset as with Family one

Where do the house/family files go?
- Place them in your Sims 3 directory under the Library folder. (example: MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/TheSims3/Library)
THE LAUNCHER IS EVIL! AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!11!!!!!!!1!!
Where do the sim files go?
- In your Saved Sims folder(example: MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/TheSims3/SavedSims)
You WILL need sliders for these sims to appear correctly!
- I use Awesomemod & its slider mod (check out my awesomemod information link on the left side of my journal). Other mods work yet, to me, not as well as Awesomemod. Find all sliders with this custom search Lazy? Don't want to hunt up sliders? That is okay, TAKE MY ENTIRE SLIDER FOLDER RIGHT HERE!
Please do not claim my sims as you own even if you edit them a little.
- But feel free to use them in your legacies -just be sure & let me know so I can read & enjoy!
