things like the whole little people thing at Flores are cool, but OXYGEN ISOTOPE CURVE sounds really scary.

its basically a method that archaeologists use to determine when all the ice ages were, they do it by drilling into the ocean floor and extracting these little dead things and seeing how much oxygen is inside them, i forget the specifics of it though. something about there being less water in the ocean during ice ages because it all on land.

truth be told i had a full credit and nothing to do with it so i took the course for fun. the course itself is amazing but tests are never so good.

the course anthropology based so i guess that makes sense? its also mostly about digging things out of the ground which is bilogical i think.

my favorite term so far is megafauna extinction because it deals with some amazing creature called a giant swan that i have yet to find a picture of but the idea of it excites me. and also dwarf elephants! fabulous!
