this is beautiful & marilyn herself was very beautiful, inside out. but she's also vulnerable, fragile and has led a glamourously tragic life. so reading her quotes saying things like this is always a little bittersweet. she never quite got the love she longed for.

I never knew that she was such a vulnerable woman, but yes, I couldn't agree more on the part of leading such glamorously tragic life.

Even though we all knew that she never quite get the love she longed for, but deep down, even if it was only what people would claimed as an affair she had with JFK - I hoped JFK had given her pretty much the love that she needed. Not much but pretty much. We never knew, aren't we? :)
