Puffinnnnnnsssssssss
Today I went to the Bird Park and Night Safari with Denpapa jounetsu_ryu, Norgymama cheese_cookies and Sverigay bossu hiddoki.
My god. We're so family. (except Fin-chan's always busy ;___; )
We were supposed to make lunchboxes with our flag patterns on it and I completely forgot till the night before when cheese_cookies called. So what do I do? Wake up at 6am to cook of course!
Okay... Iceland flag. White, red, and blue. I can use bread for white... maybe that Danish lingonberry jam for red...
Damn. Wtf can I use for BLUE? Blueberries? That's not even blue.
This is where I say "Desperate times call for desperate needs" (I seem to use that phrase an awful lot of times ._.) cause I beat some eggs with blue food colouring and made blue eggs.
....yay done! Egg and jam sandwiches.
........a very unappetizing one, at that.
Anyway, we went to the tailor first to check on our costumes. Iceland's coat - looking good~ just needs the icy buttons. Romano's coat - awesome. Just that I need to remove the lower pockets for now.
The tailor gave me a free hat! It was a test sample for cheese_cookies's hat. We kinda lol'd at this, cause I just went 'I want a haaaat' at this last night.

The first place I headed to was the penguin and puffin exhibit (surprise surprise.) and pawed at the puffins for a long time. THEY'RE SO CUTE AND FAT LKSDGHKDGJH I LOVE TO SEE THEM WADDLE.
They had to drag me out.
We had a little lunch and... okay. I guess blue food really turns people off. I ended up eating most of my eggs. They taste fine, dammit. It's all in the mind.
cheese_cookies made a Norway and Denmark flag out of salmon sandwiches, strawberry jam and crabsticks. hiddoki got the Ruffles. "It's blue on the outside and yellow on the inside!" she claimed in defense. Sigh, Swedes.
After watching them feed the penguins, we went to see the owls. Damn them idiots who still don't know what 'Do not use flash' means. Flamingos, storks, waterfall, lories, Russian vultures, American bald eagles... and those 2 Mongolian vultures that flew into Orchard Road 5 years ago.
We thought of those 2 vultures like...
"Hey let's go shopping to Singapore!"
*flies a great distance and reaches Orchard Road*
"Err... do you have Singapore currency?"
"Uh..."
"Do you know where the money changer is?"
"I dunno. Let's ask the locals."
*goes to ask the crows infesting Orchard Road*
"Simi taiqi?"
And so on.
I decided to visit the puffins again before we left and they had no choice but to follow me.
...DAMMIT WHERE ARE THE PUFFIN PLUSHIES. THEY HAVE ALL SORTS OF PENGUIN PLUSHIES, EVEN KIWIS AND LOBSTERS AND KOALAS AND KANGAROOS WHO MAKE NO SENSE BUT NO PUFFINS WTFZOMGBBQLKGHAKSGJHASG.
~Night Safari! We had an overpriced dinner then went on the tram ride. Yes, it's free passes as well.
Elephants, tapirs, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, lions, tigers, deers, antelopes, anteaters, love bears...
We just lol'd that the tigers were adopted by Tiger Balm and at how random some adopters are. DFS, M1, Mitsubishi Pencil whut?
Then we spent time at the shop before the 8.30 show. We were so amused that everything white will glow in the UV room of the shop. My shoes and edges of my bowtie were glowing omg 8D
...And then came one of their cracky shoot ideas once again. A Nordic casual shoot at the UV place wth? I'm gonna glow so much then. Considering how much white I will be wearing ._.
Oh yeah. My hair would glow.
Okay time for show~ it's the usual stuff like I went to the last time. Which was 2 years ago.
This time though, when the woman asked for Japanese, Koreans, Hindis, Chinese, Spanish, French, and other foreigners, I shouted "Icelandic!"
Before we knew it it was 10. Me and hiddoki had to hitch cheese_cookies's and jounetsu_ryu's ride to Orchard for convenient reach of public transport.
Damn. Why did I have to write everything in so much detail. It's past 1 and I have to wake up early to go to the embassy @______@
