St. Belgium

Today I decided to go for the 6pm mass instead of my usual 11am mass on Sundays.

Apparently there was a first holy communion for the pri 3s~! I had mine in pri 4.

When they showed photos of the kids on the screen with the St. (insert name here), we came across a St. Belgium.

My brother and I shot a look at each other and he gave me a weird look. Was there ever such a saint?

As the slides go on we came across a St. Jessica and my dad asked me if there was ever such a saint. And THEN I realized that those saint names are just the kids' names.

Holy... someone named their kid Belgium. How awesome is that.

I mean I've heard of people named China, London, Paris (cough), Tuvalu, Jordan...

...and then suddenly there was a St. Venice on the screen.

Awesomeshiz.

I guess being named after a country ain't so bad (not being biased). At least with a country name you get respected like... like... Obama. He gained full support of these bunch of Japanese people living at the place called Obama in Japan.

And then people call their kids April, May, June, July... Augustine/Augustus. I'm fine with month names.

And then ridiculous names like Mosquito or Abcde (pronounced Ab-see-dee) come out. (And I think icymiharu told me once of this person named Sanitary Pad or something.)

And then Indonesian names Meliguslo and Anakulelaki (wtf?) which I facepalmed at.

And then the names "Female" (pronounced Fuh-mah-lee) and "Male" (Mah-lee) too.

AND THEN. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unusual_personal_names
And other sites which I've forgotten.

...

Suddenly I'm really thankful for my name |D

Oh and I went to Shokudo at Raffles City for lunch again. THEY REPLACED THAT GREENTEA CAFE NEXT DOOR WITH SOME FRUIT CAFE BAAAWWW I really liked their matcha latte and matcha pannacotta ;-;

The rosti there = no kick. After you've eaten the rosti at the Swiss German Sausage Bar. They used LEMON ZEST in their sour cream. LEMON ZEST. YOU KNOW HOW SOUR THAT IS? And their potato strips are too chunky and oily.

I approve of the new caramelized sweet potato and rice cakes with ice cream dessert though. I ordered it with sweet potato ice cream. CAN YOU TELL IM A BIG SWEET POTATO FAN.

Oh and I just found a perfect song for Prussia just that it's in female voice so I'll need to pitch it down. I can sing it to feel high and mighty or something.

But I'm too cool, too cool
I'm too cool to know you
Don't take it personal
Don't get emotional
You know it's the truth
I'm too cool for you

You think you're hot
But I'm sorry you're not
Exactly who do you think you are
Can tell you what, that you haven't got
But when we walk into the room
I'm too cool for you

Still, the part at the beginning that goes "I'm too cool for my dress" may sounds really awkward yet amusing.

Okay I should stop this and go eat my phish food. Phish fooooddd~~

life, blah
