WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2000

My mom finally bought a hair straightener. I want to try it out right now but I'm so sore. I feel like I've been hit by a semi. Yuck. Do hair straighteners damage your hair?

Yes, They do damage your hair there this stuff I buy from Tresemme which is called heat protector. You spray it on hair before straighten its suppose to proctect your from heat. Try to keep it on a low setting you don't want to burn your hair.

I wish I had read this before I went shopping for toiletries. I will buy hair protector stuff next time.

Dont believe the hype.
Just use conditioner...and some kind of smoothing product.
I try not to both blow dry and straighten my hair, cuz it feels like double processing (obviously)...but it always looks great!

my hair straightener's label says it cuts down styling time because you can use it on wet hair. so that's what I've been doing and it works alright. I still need anti-friz spray though.
