You'll love Chekhov and Catch-22. At least, I did.

Have you considered sending How? out somewhere? It seems like the kind of story that would really work in a lit magazine.

I intend to finish reading Catch-22 soon (as I started it Soph. year and never finished).

And on two notes, one final:
1) Proust: mmm.
2) Elliott: mmm mmm good.

I'm going to take your "anything else?" as an invitation to tell you what to read:

You really do need to become acquainted with Ginsberg. Howl is damned good. Also, I know some of us talked DeLillo in Chicago but I don't remember if you had read him. If not, White Noise is a must and The Body Artist is also quite beautiful.

If you're already taking on Proust and Gunter Grass, perhaps this isn't the time for this particular recommendation, but Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace is one of my very favorite books.

Anyway, you know I love you. Send Cutes McGee my fondest regards.
