Oh man, I'm green with envy right now. I've been wanting to go to Europe since I was 13 but every summer something came up and finally this summer (my last summer before transferring) I have a break but no money. You are so lucky! BTW, do most universities around there inform you of their decisions in February? I've got to wait until late April for mine :(

I know exactly what you mean about things coming up every time you think about planning a trip. I'm actually putting this one on my credit card and I'll pay it off a little bit at a time as I work my way through school.
I'm actually still waiting to hear back from my other universities. The only reason that I found out about this one ahead of time is that I called the department. My job needed to know whether or not I'd be attending a business trip this summer, so I called the chairperson (whom I'd met in the fall) and asked him how soon I'd hear back. I haven't even gotten the official letter yet, just a word-of-mouth acceptance, but I trust him. Good luck with your applications! What kind of program are you applying for?
