Ken was really excited! He hadn't had a chance to show Ryoma just how much his powers had improved yet, so this training session should really do it! He desperately wanted to impress the other boy, to show him that he really was the partner for him and that them being together wasn't a mistake! The sacrifice could be really hard to get to sometimes, but Aoi just knew that Oishi-sensei's training could be a big help!
Aoi had zipped up his jacket and turned back to look at Ryoma, grinning from ear to ear.
Aoi frowned. Ryoma seemed to be in a particularly bad mood today. Well, he'd have to fix that then! The tal freshman wound an arm around Ryoma's shoulders as soon as he was ready and started dragging him out the door.
"You'll see, you'll see!"
Aoi was so glad he got permission from Oishi-sensei to use the stage they reserved for their training. It wasn't too hard, considering that no one used it at this time of day but them, and it was much more private and certainly warmer than the training yard was!
Ken pulled the key out of his pocket and unlocked the door, tail swishing proudly as he led them in.
Ken ran a bit and vaulted onto the stage. He certainly hadn't been shirking on his physical training either! The results showed in new muscles in his back and arms and legs. He turned and looked down at Ryoma.
"Sentou System, Tenkai!"
The stage and auditorium was shifted into the pocket dimension made by the activation of the battle system. Ken understood that it kept the environment and people who were uninvolved with magic from being hurt in a spell battle, but wasn't sure how it worked... Ah well.
The area was almost totally black, typical, and the stage background had influenced the system so that behind Aoi was a forest of red hanging curtains and all around Ryoma there were only the seats and blackness.
"What do you want to see first? I want to show you what I can do! Then we can practice synchronizing!"
Oishi had also suggested a training menu, naturally.
