1. The El is busing for the next two weeks starting at 8 p.m. today. If you're planning on traveling between 40th Street and 69th Street anytime before August 27th, expect it to take awhile.

2. The new Regional Rail fare structure is officially on crack. I finally took a look at the tariff, and if you're going from Zone 2 to Zone 5 via Center

According to the tariff, Pottstown is also Zone 6.

Indeed. But, given the nonexistence of SEPTA trains to Pottstown, it's rather academic.

thanks for the psa. fyi my dad used to keep two passes; one from home to Osaka and Osaka to work. Said by somehow splitting his pass in two would save money. Guess train fares are on crack everywhere...
