Unintentional travels and involuntary travails

Today, I took a trip to Waltham by way of South Acton. Now, those of you who are up on your Boston area geography might be wondering why I would do that, as Acton is well on the other side of Waltham from Cambridge, by a good fifteen miles. Sorry about your T struggles. It works pretty well for what it works for, but intersuburb transport isn't it.

It wouldn't have helped a bit last night (I got home around 5) but I drive roughly that route as my commute and can pick you up from being stranded in S. Acton if you land there again while I'm still on the South Shore.

Glad you made it in time for solstice celebrations. I was exhausted last night, so the boy and I read "The Shortest Day" and then I turned in early to take full advantage of the longest night. :)
