It's really more of a series of stories... SWIL used to have an annual event called Spamageddon (which even received a brief mention in a book about Spam). The method of destroying the Spam varied from year; while I was there, it included the Spamdenburg (we attached Spam to large balloons filled with hydrogen and then ignited them) and freezing it in liquid nitrogen before hitting it with various implements. Other years included the Spamapult and the Spammish Inquisition.
