You know that you want to. You tell yourself you're saving an icon, a good business and a tasty treat. But don't give to Tosci's. They failed to pay their taxes, they made the mistakes, not you. You're not letting them be responsible citizen's and adults and more likely you're teaching them that they can count on you to bail them out

I tend to agree, though.
*sigh* why can't the cool places be run by competent businessmen? If Gus and Tyler ever form a joint venture sci fi/ice cream store and ask you to invest, run the other way as fast as you can!
At least he does own up to the mistakes in his post asking for money. It's a bit different than if he gave the ol' "the man is keeping us down" spiel.

Tyler's situation seems to have been considerably different from Rancatore's, tho. He got caught up in wrangling with the various licensing authorities --- as well as -- something that could be labeled a bad business decision. Apparently Tosci's have had tax problems before and this is just the latest run in with the DOR. So his latest "spiel" is just that, a spiel, imo. [Also, Tyler did his best to pay his taxes _before_ he got seized by any part of the gov't.]
That said, I did help Tyler out, so if that makes me inconsistent, so be it.
