You're WAY further along than I am! I'm reading "Anna Karenina" right now - I finally went from Tolstoy's short stories to his bigger works. It's been a good transition so far...
1. Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte 4. Grapes of Wrath - John Steinbeck 5. Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy 6. The Wind in the Willows - Kenneth Grahame 10. Love In The Time Of Cholera - Gabriel Garcia Marquez
and let's see... wuthering heights was wierd but worth it... grapes of wrath is in my opinion not the best steinbeck.. I'd go with pastures of heaven... or another anna Karenina is in my top 3... adore it the wind in the willows is just cute and love in the time of cholera was not what I expected, but beautiful..truly beautiful
unsolicitied opinions, there you are... nerd in me couldn't help it <3 <3 <3
Jude the obscure is not nearly as interesting as I'd hoped. Tess of the Durbervilllessohhurrr looks much less interesting than I hope it will be. However. Crime & Punishment was so wonderful I can hardly stand it (Stephen gave it to me when we first dated with a highlighted passage on the last page about how seven years is an okay time to wait when all you're waiting for is to live with the love of your life.) and Jane Eyre made me spooge.
