Happy Halloween, internet! It's only 9:30 in the morning and I've already been frightened by these Twilight cakes, which were just too wonderful / horrifying / OMGWTF not to share.
So, I love Robert Carlyle and think Rush is the most interesting character on the show so far. I know we're all supposed to sympathize with Eli, but I honestly find him irritating. Anyway, last night's episode felt like like an uneasy blend of SG1 and BSG. Cloud of bug creatures devouring all of their supplies? Dumb soldier stalking it through the hallways with a pistol? So very SG1. Will TJ handle command? Will Scott and Young make it back from Hoth? Far more BSG. I liked the BSG elements better until Scott's miraculous escape from the crevice; but it's still Stargate, after all. And it's ok so far, even with its flaws.
