Alright, I am legal age to possess fireworks. It is Halloween, the one day fireworks are permitted. When I buy my fireworks I fill out a permit to light them off etc...SO WHY THE FUCK DO THE COPS STILL TAKE THEM AWAY AND BE A FUCKING ASSHOLE ABOUT IT ( Read more... )

I believe the Fireworks License is for private use, which means you have to set off the fireworks in your backyard at home. you were setting them off in a public area, and next time, dont go to a park near a fairly major road.

I hadn't lite any of mine off, so I could of just been transporting them to where ever. It's not really the reason they did it(I am aware of that), but the way they did it.

saying that they were in the wrong to take them. It was their job. I am more complaining in the way they took them. Aswell, My fireworks shouldn't have been effected because they were unopened in my jacket. Katie had firecrackers and the packet was open.

Everyone so far who has commented about this (on LJ and other means), starts preaching on the side of the police to the effect of it was totally within rights for them to take them. No one is understanding that I am quite aware of this fact. Come on, it's me your talking to, the one who spots emergency vehicles across the water.
