Matters Of Empathy

My, how bleeding our collective hearts are...

And now we are no longer threatened by our neighbours (most of them, at least), I trust, Ravenna, you are still interested in my previous offer?

'Tis always for the best to enter a room when one can be relatively sure it shall not be locked upon exit.

It'd be a strange heart that didn't bleed when cut, lass.

And 'tis an annoying collection of people who wish to thrust their self-loathing upon all and sundry.

Aye, well, perhaps it's better for them ta let it out as it comes than keep it cooped up inside them til it bursts. And the more their friends know of their problems, the more they can try ta lend a hand.

Surely it doesn't hurt the rest o' us ta hear it as sorely as it must be hurtin' themselves ta feel it, after all.

Then perhaps they require more focus.

I'm sure there are any number of tasks in need of being seen to, should they lack for options...

Then we shall embark on a short journey, tomorrow.

Assuming disaster does not threaten, yet again...

The disasters here always end within a few days. They are nothing.

A flood does not have to be long in order to drown, Ravenna.
