I've spent the semester on a research fellowship at the University of Minnesota's Institute for Advanced Study. Fellows meet weekly for lunchtime presentations of our work in progress. Hooray for recruiting viewers! I really wish I could attend one of your presentations/discussions with non-fandom people. I'll bet they're fascinating.

I thought it was a damn fine little vidshow. :D

Talking to non-fannish academics about vids is fascinating, I have to say. The set of things that they get and don't get about vidding and fandom is often quite different from that of normal non-fans.
