[Due to a few unfortunate moments, Amelia has learned to refrain from calling herself 'Captain'. Much to her chagrin, she'd rather forgo the hour-long, unremovable dunce cap. But she's since had a visit to the AMU, patched up nice and tidy, and has even gotten over her bout of delirium. Congratulations to her!]

Pleasure to--p-pleasure to--to meet you, Ma'am.

My, uh, m--m-my name's Herz. I, uhm. I-I'm one of the passengers that run one of--o-of the restaurants here. There's, uh, there's Sergei's where I work. That's on nine, a-and uhm. Then--t-then there's a place called 'Our House' on--on deck eight.

Food's free a--and--and they're open later than the buffet and--a-and they both have working bars.

Good to meet you, Herz. Hm.. Sergei's, you say? I am in dire need of a good meal; are you on duty right now? I may stop by for a quick bite and chat, if you don't mind.

[The gentle tap of claws against the edge of the communicator drifts into the silence.]

I don't see a problem with that. Deck nine you said? Be up in a jiffy.

[And she really is. It's only a brief minute and a half before she's there, waltzing into the spacious bar. Ears lift as she locates the kitchen and strolls over towards it. Those same ears duck as she enters, eyes alight as she takes in the shiny scene. Ooh, fancy.]

Huh. A lot brighter than my last kitchenette.

Hawkins; yes. I do indeed. Friend of his?

Yeah, actually--

Wait.

What'd he say about me?

[He loves you, Jim, but you've got some snark on you. He must be sure.]

Don't think he mentioned any friends of his. 'Fraid he'd scampered off by the time I woke up again. [Oh the interpretations of that.]

[Hi he's still not good with the taking gratitude thing, he'll just ignore that]

Glad to hear it. Settling in and everything?

[Oh get over it, baby.]

Seems so. This boat is strangely entertaining for a strict-water dweller. --Tel me, did we ever get around to talking about how exactly you don't remember... things?

I'm afraid I wasn't in my right mind the other night. [Delirium is fun.]

[Observant eyes survey this cat woman thoroughly before he responds.]

Well met, Amalia. [And his response is slightly hesitant. He nearly introduces himself as "General", but he's come to hate the term. Old habits...] I am Sephiroth.
