Floods / Baha

So it's been raining more than cats and dogs here. Crazy. It's not unusual to hear about floods happening somewhere in the Puget Sound area every year; usually it doesn't affect us. But every where I went (I was in the Puyallup area today), there were flooded streets.

yeah i remember the baha in the philippines. on my study abroad the water reached 3.5 feet on the car we were in. We just sat there for 13 hours until the waters went down. I don't know if I was either more sleepy and tired or tired of sleeping.

not a car. more like a truck/bus thing. we didn't get much water in the car but it was midway on the door.

Just saw it on the news this a.m. I thought about my brother's situation again. They still haven't moved back to their home.
