I was speaking with a parent today and she talked about her daughter's soccer team being exhAAAAsted during one of their soccer matches. The way she said it and another word that I forgot signaled to me that she was from Michigan ( Read more... )

Yeah the "A" gets stressed. Pangalan ko Nanette. I like "nuh-NETTE" but most people here say NAYUN-nette. ick.
