I've seen that girl sing on David Foster's special that PBS has been showing over & over & over again. I love to hear her, can't stand watching her facial expressions though. Hate it w/ a passion! lmao

They're really going all out for Obama - is this normal?

No, but then again, when was the last time a visible minority was elected President? (Not counting FDR, who couldn't stand up, or Abraham Lincoln, who was merely very tall.)

I mean, it's the end of an era, basically.

The Village Voice had an amusing piece this week begging Bush to stay because without him, journalists will have nothing fun to write about.

I was thinking the same thing. I think it will be interesting how history and time portrays George W. Bush and his presidency.
