Met Gala 2015

So this is about a week late, last 5/4/2015 was the annual Met Gala, this year's theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass” in honor of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition of the same name. Onward then.

Cher & Amal Clooney looked amazing! I thought Beyonce looked kinda tacky. :x

I get that her body is amazing but when I see something like this I tend to just think of logistics as in how she can walk in it because it barely covers anything. I want pretty and or amazing dresses not a contest on who can get away with wearing the least coverage. Meh

Also Kim's gown is very similar to Beyonce's black gown for the met gala from 2012.

Absolutely agree regarding the Who's More Naked contest.

It's not really my job, someone else does trend/concept boards but making posts here for the fall/spring shows makes me actually look thru the runway shows to get some idea of the season and the Met gala is just fun.

As for the remembering, that Beyonce dress was something and they are similar enough that you kind of side eye. I didn't remember the year, but I was not the only one who saw the similarities and a lot of websites had them side by side, like so:
