I actually bought a new camera with the convention in mind. It's supposed to take good pics in low light. I tried it out at my grandson's kindergarten graduation and it seemed to work really well. Got my fingers crossed for some good pics next month and yes, I'll share if they turn out good.
I miss SGA as well, every single Friday and in between too. The frustrating thing is the show had several good years left if certain people (Brad-cough-Wright-cough) weren't total losers and moronic idiots. They still had decent ratings, which were going up. Some new writers (like a few ff writers that had a better grasp on the show than some of the people getting a paycheck) and they could still be on the air. Have I mentioned how much I still hate that man?????

I too can't believe it's five years. There were some brilliant episodes (Letters to Pegasus is one of my favourites because it introduced Zelenka :)) to over come the poorer ones and the acting was first class. Lots of friendships were formed out of fandom (even if some people keep falling off the radar lol))
