[The experiment's been over for days now. It's given Robin a lot to mull over about the malleable nature of the enclosure. It's given him a chance to witness residents both at their best and at their worst; there were surprises to be had on both ends

[Pommy usually doesn't care to be out at night, or at night bordering on buttcrack o'dawn, but aside from a few odd incidents he's seen so far in his time here, Luceti seems like a safe enough place for a mochi mound like him to wander on his own. He misses Diamond City (and a certain someone who brought him there), but he's actually kind of enjoying the ruralness of the village -- it reminds him of his time on the planet Ksa2, while living with one of his old families.

Anyway, despite the nostalgia, Pommy knows to be careful. He carefully sifts through the sounds that his sensitive ears pick up as he's walking, trying his best to catalogue them as "threat" or "not-threat" or "cute" (yes, that's an actual third category with this guy, shut up). As he approaches Azzip, he hears...something...in the night...but he's not sure yet whether it's a "threat" or "not-threat". A bit worried, Pommy draws himself up into the best fighter pose he can summon from his memories of Bomberman's fights and says...]Myu! Pommy can hear

[Robin might be one of those types that counts as both "threat" and "non-threat", but he does pause once he's spotted, raising an eyebrow toward the source of the noise. It sounded cutesy enough, but in Robin's experience cutesy things occasionally had the habit of walking around with machine guns.]

That depends who's been trying to find me.

[action] About a foot tall, a little larger than a basketball but not completely round like one.

Pommy's name is Pommy, the cutest hero in the galaxy! Pommy faced down the creator of this universe and lived to tell the tale!

[...it's sort of true. Pommy was there when Bomberman fought the Angel of Light and Shadow, though he missed the three "tests" that the Angel subsequently put his friend through. True, Pommy was only on the sidelines, as he usually is in fights, but in retrospect it's a wonder he wasn't more scarred by the experience of being in the presence of a being that was essentially God. And let's not even get into how before that particular encounter, he'd seen Bomberman fight the god of evil -- twice -- and then before that, a goddess-possessed space pirate friend of theirs had tried to kill the both of them out of some misguided sense of "justice."

Really, it's amazing that this thing doesn't need therapy.]

[.....Snerk. Okay, tiny little pink thing. He'll play along.]

That sounds impressive, Pommy. I'm Robin.

[Pommy cocks his head curiously once he actually gets a better look at the person he'd been threatening. Robin's just a boy, and he's wearing a funny costume to boot, but Pommy still ends up picking up "threat" vibes from him. (Maybe it's the cape. Or the hair. Pommy's not sure.)

But Robin's being friendly to him right now, so things must be okay for the moment! Besides, Pommy was kind of getting lonely by himself.]

Nice to meet you, Robin! [He hops.] What are you doing out here so late at night? Are you lost?

[Robin is a YOUNG ADULT, thankyouverymuch. But he'll be courteous to the pink thing's sensibilities nonetheless.]

I'm not lost. I like this time of day. What about you? [He stops just short of asking if there was some kind of caretaker he should be fetching. Even if he suspects that someone's missing a little pink volleyball somewhere.]

Pommy's just taking a walk. There's not much to do in Pommy's apartment. [No video games, no TV, no computers, and he can't talk to Bomberman or Sheba either. Pommy hasn't yet given the journal a real try, but he's not much for writing anyway.

Speaking of Bomberman...] Myu, have you seen a guy around here named Bomberman? He's got white hair, likes to wear blue and white clothes, and throws bombs. He's Pommy's friend, so Pommy needs to look after him. [If by "look after", you mean "nag him about food and being bored".]

...No, Pommy. I'm afraid I haven't seen your friend. [And for that, he's somewhat glad. A guy like that seems to be the sort of type who deserves a lifetime behind bars.]

Have you seen Bomberman since you've been here?He might still be all the way back home.

The last time Pommy saw Bomberman was before Pommy woke up here in Luceti, myu. [He puts a round paw to his mouth, thinking.] It was at night. Pommy was just watching TV in the living room, and Bomberman said he had to leave because Dr. Ein needed him and his friends to catch some bad guys they'd been trying to find for a while. Pommy didn't see Bomberman return before Pommy fell asleep.

[Pommy then scowls cutely.]

The Malnosso must've taken Pommy while Bomberman was away! They were too scared to face someone like him, so they waited until he left before they attacked Pommy in his sleep! They're a bunch of cowards!

[Yeah, Pommy, because you're clearly such an invaluable target!]

But maybe they waited for Bomberman after they took Pommy too. There are a lot of people who want to hurt Bomberman, after all. [He sounds a little saddened as he says the last part.]

[Robin listens patiently to Pommy's story. It sounds more dangerous the longer the little guy keeps talking, really. It's entirely possible that Pommy's safer in a prison like this.]

Well I'm sure if someone used bombs to blow up your important things, you'd be angry too, wouldn't you?

[Pommy angrily hops to the defense of his friend.]

Myu, Bomberman's always careful not to blow stuff up that he doesn't mean to!

[He calms down a bit.]

He says that everyone gets taught to be careful using their bombs on Bomber Star, but that he has to be really careful because apparently he's stronger than most other bombers. He tries not to kill bad guys whenever he goes after them.

That's a very good place to start. I'll be sure to keep an extra-special eye out for Bomberman, in case he gets here sometime soon, okay?

He glances over/up at Azzip.]

Myu, when does this place open? Pommy wants pizza.
