I have an office, and intern, wear a tie to work, and get whiskey drunk at least twice a week. It is a delicate balance.

I have this grandmother. She was a nurse in France during WWII. She divorced my grandpa at age 70, eloped at age 80; she can drink most of my generation of family members under the table, dances better than us too; she uses all manner of English and French curse words regularly, and has, at least one one occassion, referred to a girlfriend of mine that she met as a "fucking hot number, which is the best translation of her French that I can come up with.

As you may guess, I love her, dearly. No one should ever grow-up so much that they can't drink, fight n' fuck.
