(( Okay...I don't know if this conflicting with canon or not, but since I've never heard of an established birth date for him, I don't really care. I thought this was appropriate, since it is our Robin's birthday

The half-demoness paused, frowning. She sensed two people in the tower; one she recognized, Robin, and one she didn't. Why had he brought a stranger home on his birthday? Sure, he didn't exactly know about the party, but still.
She gritted her teeth then sighed, knowing she had no choice but to hope for the best.
OOC: (( Awe... *blushes* Thanks guys. *is all late noticing* ))
Pausing and turning on his heel slightly, Robin frowned a bit.
"What are you talking about? Look... I'm not going to let you go out there on your own, not even knowing who you are. You don't have to stay here for very long-- atleast let me help you," he tried, brows furrowing in faint concern.
He looked at Robin, his mouth slightly open, and blushed again.
"It's not that I don't want to stay.." He started, grasping for words that he barely knew, and for a meaning he was only guessing at. "I'd just hate to be a burden. I get the feeling that the work you do is very important, to you and-- well, everyone else around here too, right? I don't want to get in your way.." He trailed off, smiling sheepishly. "But-- I really don't have anywhere else to go..." He took a small step toward Robin. "I mean, if you're sure it's okay... ?"
Speedy snuck downstairs from the roof, making his way to the Control Room as stealthily as he could, though he was sure that if Robin had the slightest clue what they were planning, all his stealth would only make him look like a fool.
-Like it matters... just a party...- He thought as he rounded the last corner, spotting Raven. Seeing that the coast was clear, he dropped his spy act and walked into the room, though he kept his voice down.
"Hey, Rae... looks like you need some help finishing with the decorations... ?"
One hand behind his head, he looked at her sheepishly.
"Ah, Garth should be down in a minute... Bee kicked us out of the Tower for an unknown amount of time-- You think it'd be cool if we crashed here after the party for a while?" He spread his hands wide, shrugging. "We'll help out and stuff..."
One eyebrow arched slightly and she had to pull up her hood to hide a smirk, deciding not to mention the fact that he had used Aqualad's real name. "Good to see she has you so whipped. You'll have to talk to Robin, but I doubt there'll be a problem."
She motioned to a stack of things standing nearby, "Think you can hang that banner before he gets here?"
"My balance is just fine... it's your work ethic that's shoddy..." He said, but he was smirking, glancing at the girls out of the corner of his eye. He blushed and got off of Garth, offering him a hand up.
Bursting in through the doors, Robin had looked ready to take on an intruder, but stopped dead in his tracks when he got inside the living room. Taking in the half-way decorated room, he simply gawked.
Putting pieces together, he realized the cry must have come from either Speedy or Aqualad, and what they were decorating for. "Uh... Sorry, wrong room," he said as an excuse, suddenly trying to backtrack out of the living room while he had the chance with a sheepish smile.
Raven jumped, then scowled and dropped the streamers she was holding, "Surprise, Robin." She said dryly, then motioned to the cake, "Happy birthday."
Well, this had not been how she planned for him to find the party, but she couldn't change it. So she had no choice but to make sure they had fun, no matter what.
Aqualad went bright red and grabbed the other boy's hand, jumping to his feet quickly, "Umm...hey, Robin. Happy birthday!" He smirked and pointed to the half-hung banner.
"I guess this was more of a surprise for us, though."
Standing back by the door, he hovered ncertainly, taking in the new faces, the situation, and the easy atmosphere... he doubted his place here, regretting the intrusion, his feet already starting to drag him backwards into the shadows of the hall...
If he hadn't looked embarrassed before, Robin sure did now. How did they find out about his birthday? That was something he'd have to ask later. "Guys... I don't know what to say," he finally said, looking between all of them for a moment.
Then he remembered why he had originally wanted to come in here-- he turned to face the other boy behind him, seeing him start to edge away.
Robin furrowed his brows upwards, tilting his head and gesturing for him to come into the living room.
He froze when Robin looked at him, hunching his shoulders... but something about Robin inviting him into the room let him move forward, his cycloptic gaze shifting over the others.
"You're having a party, Robin..." He said quietly, horridly self conscious of the intimacy in his tone. "Ah... I really should go..."
Raven allowed a wan smile to dart over her face, "Why don't we leave it at thank you?"
Her eyes darted to the boy standing behind her leader and frowned slightly. Another honorary Titan? How many were there? She could tell the newcomer was uncomfortable, and forced the frown away so that she simply looked apathetic.

He hesitated inside the doorway, oddly apprehendsive of the Tower, and all that he inherently thought it stood for.
"Ah... Robin? Maybe I shouldn't be here..." He backed up a step...
((Hehe... decorate like the wind, Rae. ^__^ ))

"Where's the rest of the team? Did they come with you?" Robin and the other boy were getting steadily closer, and the party was only half-prepared.
