I'm trying to divorce Facebook, and I think I'd rather decorate my eyelids with cross-stitch than go back to Twitter. Is there a way to subscribe, or would you have to deliberately put it on your LJ or FB?
My tweets cross-post to FB, but individually, not in batches, so there's the usual problem of facebook-doesn't-show-you-everything. There are (or have been) ways to have tweets cross-posted to LJ. Presumably there are other options for similar effects.
One option that looks like it would work.. use IFTTT, connect it to Twitter and Email Digest services, and set it up to send all tweets from a specific user to a daily email digest.
Twitter is all in who you follow, and a fair number of folks I know only follow their friends and maybe an interesting writer or two, which keeps it manageable. The official interface also sucks, non-official apps don't (usually) show you suggested or promoted tweets, or mess with the order things should show in, which helps. I think it's an acquired taste, tho.
