I have very few lj friends. Think I missed the whole lj trend. So it always feels a bit weird writing on here : who am I writing for, and do they read this often?

Do you write to write or do you write to be read? The publicity is a benefit, not a requirement (it's also a hazard, but that's what private entries and sociology are for.)

You'd be surprised who follows or reads blogs. Not all of them have accounts. Making your juicy stuff public would help, though :P

I second this. I am always surprised about how many people read my blog. You probably have more readers than you suspect.
