329.

What I expected, but not what I hoped.

I asked for cytotec and my m/w is out and won't be in until Wed. so I have to wait until at least then.

I should have just asked for this last week, I would be a week closer to starting a new cycle.

Ugh.

i keep meaning to post with support for you. i dont know what to say, but i am thinking of you.

one of my very good friends from lj/cc/wc just had a m/c at 12 weeks, if you think it would help to talk about it i would be happy to give you guys each others email addresses, or open a cfg for just you two in my journal, or whatever. i know she is having ups and downs, as is to be expected, and she has said that talking to another friend of ours who lost twins at 19 weeks has helped her a lot. maybe talking to other folks going through this might help?

Nance, I'm here already...and, T, yes, if you need anything from me, I'll give you my business email and from there my email, since my last name is part of my regular email...

What about contacting your family doctor or an OB or someone for a second opinion? Just because your m/w isn't available doesn't mean you should have to go through this longer than (unfairly) necessary. Is your m/w worried about possible infection yet? (I'm worried about you for your health....mental and physical)

What is cytotec?

Cytotec is a drug that they give women who are going to be induced to try and soften and open their cervix.
It is indicated in incomplete miscarriage (which is what I think I have) for the same reason.

I really hope that works for you.

I hope so too, because otherwise it's just more waiting and then if my numbers stop coming down or don't come down all the way, a d&c.

I'm so glad the numbers are going down, even if it's not as quickly as you want them to! Thinking of you!

I really think the reason the numbers aren't going down more quickly is because there is still stuff in there that needs to come out.
And since my bleeding has all but stopped (brown spotting when I wipe but that's about it) I just don't think it's going to do it on its own.

Thanks for the thoughts, keep them coming.

I'm so sorry. I know it must be even harder that your body keeps reminding you.:-( Hopefully, the Cytotec will allow you and Steve to go through the physical privately (versus a d&c). I hate that you are hurting so bad, emotionally. I really do think about you everyday.

Maybe I'm just over anxious and they are right and my numbers would eventually come down on their own. But I have been bleeding for over 2 wks now and while I know there is a extended bleeding period after a miscarriage, everything I've found says that's after passing everything, so I'm just convinced I haven't and I have to have an end to this, and soon.
And yes, that's exactly why I asked for the cytotec instead of the d&c. Though I know that doesn't mean that I won't still have to have one, the cytotec doens't work for everyone.

Thank you so much for your thoughts. I really appreciate them.
