I'm sorry she hurt you like that. It sounds like she made a very poorly thought out word choice, which is unfortunate. A lot of people don't know what to say regarding a miscarriage which makes for some tough times. I hope your friendship with her can get back on solid ground soon!

Yeah, I agree, but she has even told me that she knows that a lot of people say things they shouldn't, so for her to (in a way) tell me that she gets that but then do it anyway...well, I don't know what to think I guess. I think you're right, but her getting defensive about my reply I think bothers me more than if she had said something like "Oh...yeah, I see your point, I shouldn't have said that."

Hmmmm, I'm not really sure why she said that? I can definitely understand why you would be so annoyed. Hopefully, she'll realize it and make amends next time she talks to you.

Oh! I have a counseling appt today, I can ask her if she thinks I should.
