Haha. I LOVE Choose Your Own Adventure-type books. I'll spend hours tarding around, going through every single possible option until I have the pages practically memorized and it'll say, go to page 86 and I know I'm going to get eaten alive by a squid or something. The Goosebumps ones are some of the best, though the real classic CYOA are so damn funny it should be illegal. Like in one ending in the Inuit adventure you apparently get skinned by a couple of polar bears.
. . . on another note, I think you did a fine job considering the type of book it was. I definitely enjoyed, great job.
I'm curious to know that happens when Nancy goes to the haunted mansion set instead of the castle. That's what I would've picked because Nancy is always hanging out in haunted mansions.
Then Nancy does something very un-Nancylike and trips over something and makes a loud noise so the men flee.
They seem to have confused Nancy with Bess. Bess is always tripping over her shit.
My dream is to one day read a book that has Nancy team up with Jessica Fletcher.
I believe the men are also in the haunted mansion, but she doesn't trap them right away like she does in the castle. There's more run around. But I will check when I get home.
Excellent writeup! Now I want a choose your own SVH, incorporating some of the most cracked-out storylines into one awesome book. Turn to page 45 to drink out of Bruce's paper cup, turn to page 78 to try coke at Molly's party, and flip to 31 to frame your sister for manslaughter.
And then after shopping you have to choose: do you join her in running her mom's skanky boyfriend out of town or help her steal Jessica's latest boyfriend?
