Summer school started on Monday.

I got an e-mail today, after sending an e-mail to the entire class late last night, from a student who forgot that summer school started this week. Oops.

I left Albuquerque yesterday 5ish. Arrived in Fort Collins at about a quarter till 3. It's supposed to just be a 7 hour trip and not a 10 hour trip, but I stopped a couple of times to rest my eyes--getting online or sleeping ( Read more... )

I arrived at Chaco Canyon what, Wednesday? Yeah, I spent Wednesday and Thursday night there, so I must have arrived on Wednesday. I spent Tuesday night in my car, on my way to Chaco. I'm in Gallup now. In a hotel room! I decided I needed a shower, so when I left Canyon de Chelly, I decided it was time to get a room. I had planned to stay at St. Michaels/Window Rock, but the two hotels there were expensive, and I couldn't get internet access. So I came half an hour further to Gallup ( Read more... )

I've decided to go out in the morning and evening, and to seek refuge in the (hotter and more crowded) afternoon. Refuge, today, means to come down to Arches to re-fill on water (there's no water supply in Canyonlands) and to stop by a coffee shop in Moab while I'm here.
