Oath of Silence Day!!!

Am taking the oath today - but I've had to break it for an interview with the Record. And, one later for CBC Radio.
The Record was for Oath of Silence Day. Which is really exciting.

AND!! The one laer is for CBC Radio's new segment on gender neutral language. A prof recommended that they speak to me about the importance of ( Read more... )

it's really exciting - this is the first year it's ever been done at WLU, or in all of Canada to the best of our knowledge.

I'm glad we've been able to start something so awesome.

On an offical level I believe it is.

I did it in my last year at LB..but I just found out about it the night before.. so really all I did was hand out the notes explaining why I was being silent. One person demonstration often garner more strange looks the any social change.. but this - this is good news :)
