I love that game, I should play it again sometime.
Things to try if you haven't already:

LHC (Don't forget to use it)
Cthulu
Shiva
Teleporter
Time Machine
Freeze Ray
Saddle + Dragon (Two seperate items that can be used together)
Toaster (Try it underwater)
Wiffle Bat (Give it to armed enemies to replace whatever they're carrying)
Gyrocopter (The helicopters more useful twin)

That's all that comes to mind for now.

I tried Griffin the other day. It looked really cool, but seemed to want to attack me. Obviously I should have typed in saddle first. I hadn't realised that was necessary since earlier I managed to ride a pig bareback.

Can you summon other gods? Cos that would be handy.

Possibly a gyrocopter would mean less kitty death.

It'll still try to attack you until you manage to ride it.

I tried other gods from the mythos, but they didn't respond to my summons :(
You can summon "God" though :P

I'm pretty sure between gyrocopter, wings, freeze ray, toaster, vampire, shovel, chain and drawbridge you can solve every puzzle in the game.
