how was bel canto? i started that about 2 years ago and it didn't excite me enough to finish it

i really liked it. Despite the seriousness of the situation it was a very light novel with a lot of heart...or at least i thought so.

While I loved the book I was a little disappointed. The “I know Malfoy is up to something and nobody believes me” filled up way too much of the book and left the middle feeling rather empty. I was also disappointed about the ending, not so much the fact that she did it but rather how she went about it.

I know what you mean, Harry was really obsessed with Malfoy this time, and for once Ron didn't even suspect him. I really liked it as I was going through it but I find it to be less re-readable than the others because I tend to want to skip through all the Penseive stuff and Malfoy hunts, which doesn't leave much.
