Don't you just look like a beautiful goddess! :D Your new place looks amazing, and the baby's room is just gorgeous *smishes* You and "Dave" and Phil take real good care of yourselves, I'm so happy things are going so beautifully for you all *smothers you with hugs and kisses*
Awww thank you my L! I actually feel really pretty at the moment. My mum says pregnancy suits me. But she is rather bias!!
The baby's room is my favorite room. I love sitting in there and just looking at all the lovely things we have made for him or been given. He's gonna know he is very loved right from the start! And there are pieces of you in there now too!! I love that.
We will hon and we will get the good news to you as soon as we can.
Awwwwwwww Toni ... you look GORGEOUS!! You're going to be an awesome momma and Phil is going to be an awesome daddy and Dave is going to be a super-duper baby!!
Thanks so much Lin. I really can't wait now. I do have some moments like yesterday when its super hot and sticky and I'm just uncomfortable and big but mostly I'm still enjoying being pregnant. However, I just want to MEET HIM NOW!! *pokes my belly and asks if he's coming yet*
*missed YOU too*
And yes, all things being equal and well, I hope to be able to breast-feed. Took some really good courses through the hospital about lactation and the mid wives who will look after us in the hospital for three days are big on using that time to make sure the mum and new bubs get breast feeding down to a fine art. So *fingers crossed*
You look totally and utterly GORGEOUS!!!!! The bump suits you :-)
The new place looks lovely as well, all bright and modern, ready for Dave. Do let us know when he arrives and I just know you're going to have a great birth.
Thanks Arabia!! I have really loved being pregnant. Although I must say, I went window shopping with my niece two days ago and being me, ended up in a shoe store. And the hooker heels!! OMG the hooker heels where calling me...... because of my prone-ness to falling over I've been wearing sensible shoes throughout my pregnancy (and the one time I didn't I DID fall over and freaked myself out). And man, I can't wait to put on some ridiculously high heels and a party dress..... (I thought of you the whole time I was in the shoe store too! Anytime I see gorgeous hooker heels I'm instantly transported back to London
( ... )
You leave those hooker heels for after the birth.... when you'll be so overwhelmed you won't remember what your feet are!
You're taking your computer into hospital for the quiet times? Quiet times? With a new baby? Sweetheart, when he's asleep all you'll want to do is sit there gazing at him, forget movies!
I suspect it will be a while before the hooker heels and party dresses come out - but a girl can dream!
My sister is of the same opinion as you - but I suspect at night time, when its gone 9:30pm and Phil has been kicked out, I shall need a wee bit of mindlessness just to be able to finally get some sleep myself.
OMG YOU beautiful to-be-mama!!!!!! *EEEEEEEE* Look at you and your gorgeous Dave bump! :D I've been thinking about you, wondering how things were going and if your little one has made his appearance yet. I'm glad to hear that everything is well and, yay, you and Phil are nesting (nested?).
The nursery looks great! What a terrific rocking horse (is it an heirloom?). I see you have the changing table and the nursing chair all set up \0/. You guys are so READY!
Also, the bright sun and palm-like plants outside your window/balcony are reminding me that somewhere in the world the sun actually does shine now that the grey winter has settled here. Ahhh, summer.
Also also, I might've squeed a little when I noticed your Harry Potter books on one of your book shelves. Awesome.
I look forward to hearing about Dave in the near future. All the best, sweets!
Hey there gorgeous Mama! *rubs my bump* He's gotten real big eh? No appearance yet - I'm not anxious or anything but dude, I just want to have him and hold him already. I'm completely ready to meet him.... *askes him if its time yet

Hurray for big, healthy babies with round cheeks and chubby fingers!
we are using modern cloth nappies
Good for you! We have something similar called bummies, but we've yet to try them as they're bigger than the newborn diapers we're using now. I pushed for disposables early on because I thought that washing diapers or committing to a diaper service was going to be overwhelming on top of everything else. Let me know how your diapers work!
its been in the high thirties (Celsius) and with high humidity already and its not even full summer yet. SOOO HOT AND STINKY!
Stay cool, sweets. When it was hot here, I'd sleep with a wet washcloth over the baby bump and the fan on me. Heaven. :) The good thing about being pregnant in the summer is that you don't have to go out and buy a million clothes for warm weather ... like jackets and sweaters. You can get away with less and show off the bump. ;) Plus, all the local fruits were in season and every pregnant woman I know craved fresh berries and citrus.
Dude, he is soooooo small. There is no use of the cloth nappies because there is no way he will fit them!! Newborn disposables are only just fitting him at the moment. He takes after his dad - long and lean - so NONE of the clothes we had for him fitted. We had to do an emergency shop for 0000 size cloths (the smallest you can get but are meant for premmie babies). However, when he has put a bit of meat on his bones, I shall let you know how we go...
