Day Five now and oh wow! He is wonderful. Sleeping and feeding like a trooper and even dealing with the wee bit of wind he is getting really well. Mummy and Daddy are surprised at how much sleep we are actually getting. Mind you, he is a baby so anything could change!!
My mum has been an absolute super star - she has made us casseroles and dinners for every night this week and along with my sister brought all the gorceries we would need for lunches and stuffs. She comes over most days to see us, help out with Zack and just let us have a bit of a chilled out time. And my sister and sister in law are constantly in contact with me, popping in to say hi etc, so we feel almost normal. But night time is me and Phil time so we work as a team to look after the little man. I'm getting more sleep than I expected but it is broken sleep (he's too wee to sleep through the night yet) and that can be tiring.
awwww congrats bb! glad to hear so far everything is going good!! i hope it stays that way!!
under 3 hours of labor?? you're a very lucky woman!! i hope i'm that lucky, because i have NO patience and i think that's the only thing that's scaring me about labor. i'm usually good with pain tolerance but i have no patience so i know if i'm there for too long i'll start getting irritated "OK LET'S MOVE THIS ALONG!!" lol
So far so good. I know he is just a little one though so I'm gonna enjoy things being good while they are - who knows if it will change!
Tell me about it! It wasn't the pain I didn't like but the incredible back ache that did me in. I wasn't expecting that during labour and it made me soooo GRUMPY!
