There is a difference between "check engine" and "service engine" which we learned. Check engins is okay. You may want to go to them to check it out but it could just be your O2 censor. Mine could have been anything and the mechanic said the car could blow (every other layman carguy that I have talked to since has said something different so I'm still going by what the mechanic said). Really though, the car was 10 years old and has over 163,000 miles on it. It was just worn out.
